Our STORY

IT ALL STARTED WITH A SPONTANEOUS ROADTRIP...


We're James and Rebecca, the husband and wife team behind Nonna Tonda.

In 2017 we packed up our possessions and our 6 month old son and went on a tour of Italy to learn the authentic way to make fresh pasta.

In 2020 we opened a restaurant, that we had to quickly shut down when covid hit. Instead, we decided to deliver fresh pasta and homemade sauces. And that's what we've been doing ever since...

Here are our most commonly asked questions

Am I locked into anything?

No. Skip a week, change your delivery, or cancel whenever it suits you. We'd love for you to have pasta every week, but we completely understand that isn't always possible.

Why does it cost more than a supermarket ready meal?

Because every dish is made using the highest quality ingredients, every day, by hand. We've never cut our quality to hit a price.

What happens if I'm not home for delivery?

Most of our deliveries go through your letter box. If we can't put it through your letter box, our team will follow instructions or leave it in a safe place. Our deliveries are made with chilled vans and bikes and also include ice packs!

What if I'm vegetarian or have allergies?

You can set your preferences so you only have vegetarian meals, so we'll never send you something you can't eat.

If you have allergies, we recommend you carefully read each dish's ingredients list. As we cook every meal in the same small kitchen, your order will be prepared in a kitchen that handles other allergens.
